8 or 12 Glasses of Water a Day: How Much Should You Really Drink?

There is no direct scientific proof that adding eight or 12 cups of water on top of the other liquids and food you consume will improve your health. In any effect, drinking more water will make you pee frequently, which actually helps in removing waste from the body. But health experts believe you should follow your body and drink when you’re thirsty or the color of your pee is dark yellow. You should also be aware of the signs of dehydration.
